Razionale

Among the most common malignancies are those affecting the urinary tract and the male genital system. Urological cancers are not limited to prostate cancer but also include kidney, bladder, and testicular tumors, among the most prevalent entities.
In recent years, a multidisciplinary approach to oncological diseases has progressively expanded, extending beyond prostate cancer to include bladder cancer management. The development and implementation of novel diagnostic modalities, advances in radiotherapy techniques, the introduction of next-generation robotic surgical platforms, and the availability of innovative systemic therapies now mandate a fully integrated multidisciplinary strategy, particularly in patients with muscle-invasive bladder cancer.
Technological evolution has profoundly transformed surgical practice and recovery pathways. Over the past two decades, the field has progressed from open surgery to minimally invasive robotic techniques, significantly impacting perioperative outcomes and patient recovery.
This Masterclass aims to compare surgical techniques and therapeutic strategies through structured discussion among leading Italian and international experts. The objective is to highlight technical nuances and clinical decision-making processes, ultimately promoting an increasingly personalized, patient-centered, and precision-based approach to urological oncology.
