SURGICAL ANATOMY OF KIDNEY AND RETROPERITONEUM

This course has an ambitious goal: to cover the surgical anatomy of the kidney and retroperitoneum from a comprehensive perspective. The first day of the course will analyze the theoretical/anatomical aspects, followed by four live open and robotic surgical procedures, with interaction between the operating rooms and faculty moderators.
The second day will be dedicated to cadaver lab activities for retroperitoneal dissection. These various training phases will provide students with a comprehensive and in-depth overview of urological surgery of the kidney and retroperitoneum, using various access methods and surgical simulation.
